John Zink Company, LLC Offers Monitoring Accessories to Optimize Combustion Efficiency

TULSA, Okla., Dec., 23, 2003 - John Zink Company, LLC offers the FireSight® high-temperature remote viewing system by Lenox Instrument Company and the testo flue-gas emission analyzer by Testo, Inc. Both monitoring accessories can operate in virtually all combustion applications.

With the FireSight remote viewing system, operators can monitor process heater conditions to make air-flow and air-fuel adjustments that can result in reduced emissions of up to 20 percent. FireSight also aids in reducing costly flame impingement on process tubes.

The testo flue-gas analyzer helps operators optimize and run their heaters more efficiently. It enables them to spot check furnaces for critical measurements of O2, NOx and CO levels and make necessary operational adjustments. Designed for simple field maintenance, changing or upgrading the testo measuring cells requires only a plug-and-play change out.

Zink offers two models of the testo analyzer. The testo 300 M is suitable for daily boiler and burner efficiency tuning as well as for more complicated, larger industrial applications. The testo 350 portable analyzer is capable of low-NOx testing, and is practical for all testing applications.
