Customers congregate in comfortable, private conference rooms, to witness and discuss burner and flare demonstrations, review results,
eat meals, and communicate with their colleagues.
The rooms are equipped with the latest projection equipment to display
test data and other presentation materials on a large screen. WonderWare
software collects and instantly displays data from any of the 14 test
furnaces into the customer rooms. WonderWare can also be used to remotely
control some of the furnaces. Soon, customers will be able to remotely view the flame inside the
furnace on a TV monitor in the comfortable, climate-controlled customer rooms. The furnace cameras and state-of-the-art software will also enable John Zink to send live test videos and data over the Internet to customers all around the world. Password-protected remote viewing will allow a customer to witness a test while accessing the test results in real time at their home office.
The Customer Center clearly distinguishes John Zink Company from other combustion test facilities. Contact a John Zink representative to schedule your next burner or flare test.
John Zink Company expanded and upgraded the flare pad to test larger-sized flares. Testing a variety of flare sizes allows our engineers to more accurately size and select the flare for each customer's specific requirements. Scaling up to a larger flare helps John Zink engineers determine the key parameters affecting flare performance.
Analyzers built into the new flares will relay data to a new control room. WonderWare software will collect and instantly display data from the flares. Testing capabilities will include real-time multidimensional, radiation, noise and remote customer data transfer via the World Wide Web.
