Flare Pad Test Facility
John Zink tests each of our major flare models at our one-of-a-kind flare pad, located at the Research and Development Test Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. John Zink maintains a variety of fuels to match or simulate your operating conditions. We fire air-assisted flares, steam-assisted flares, sonic flares, HydraTM flares, Biogas and utility flares, to measure noise, radiation, smokeless capacity and the utilities of each. John Zink uses the latest technologies to test for noise and radiant heat flux. Such thorough testing helps ensure safe, efficient and practical flare operation.
The flare pad is used to test developmental flares, pilots and tips, although, customer demonstrations are also performed. John Zink’s flare-pad expansion includes larger flares for even more versatile scaling and performance prediction.
Trust the leader in combustion technologies and solutions to develop leading-edge, clean-burning equipment for today and tomorrow’s toughest applications.
