ZEF Utility Flare

John Zink^® industrial Elevated Flares (ZEF) have been redesigned specifically for landfill gas applications. They process a wide range of landfill waste gas compositions and flowrates while meeting the open flare emission criteria specified in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulation 40 CFR 60.18.

Our candlestick flare design is a cost-effective way to eliminate odorous methane produced during landfill decomposition. The John Zink ZEF components include a stainless steel flare tip, stainless steel wind shield, pilot, ignition system, control panel, and carbon steel stack with integral base plate. A vapor blower package can be supplied to deliver landfill gas to the flare for complete system integration by John Zink.
