COOLstar™ Series Burner (ultra-low NOx)

The John Zink COOLstar series burner is a round-flame, gas-only burner and can be installed vertically up-fired or horizontally depending on the application. The COOLstar burner is ideal for retrofit applications due to its small size. Through extensive development efforts, John Zink has reduced the cross area of the burner tile allowing for retrofit into furnaces with existing, conventional raw gas and premix burners with only minor modifications to the heater steel and refractory (if required).

XMR Burner (freestanding low and ultra-low emission; wall-fired low and ultra-low emission)

The XMR flat-flame burner utilizes deep fuel staging and INFURNOx™ technology to entrain flue gas and lower NOx emissions levels compared with conventional fuel staged burners. The XMR burner can be employed as either a freestanding or wall-fired flame, and can be mounted through the floor or wall of a furnace depending on the furnace application requirements.

DEEPstar™ Burner (heavy & light oil)

The DEEPstar burner uses clean-burning combination oil-and-gas fuel technology. The DEEPstar combination round-flame oil and gas burner provides maximum NOx control. The deep regeneration tile provides superior flame stability. When firing gas, the DEEPstar burner employs fuel staging to enhance NOx control. When firing oil, the DEEPstar burner uses staged air to reduce NOx.
