Preventative Maintenance
All mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components have a limited service life. Regular preventative maintenance extends the lifecycle of these system components, reduces maintenance costs, and minimizes the potential for unscheduled downtime and emergency call-outs.
Zink offers a (1) Quarterly Program: one day on site, four times per year, (2) Semi-Annual Program: one day on site, two times per year, (3) Annual Program: one day on site, one time per year, or (4) Custom Preventative Maintenance Program: tailored to your requirements.
Our goal is for your system components to realize their maximum possible service life before they wear out or fail. A John Zink Preventative Maintenance Program benefits your operations with:
- Increased profits
- Better equipment operation
- Lower overall operating costs
- Priority 24-hour emergency response
- Access to nationwide team of highly qualified service technicians
- Availability of technical information for your John Zink or McGill vapor control equipment (i.e. drawings, manuals, specifications, and technical data)

Carbon Service
When vapor recovery unit performance drops and emissions increase, the carbon must be tested for hydrocarbon saturation. The John Zink Service group maintains a comprehensive carbon-testing lab at its headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a mobile carbon removal/screening unit to test and replace carbon on site. Our technicians are Hazwoper and confined-space entry trained to perform all aspects of carbon removal/replacement, vessel interior inspection/repair and process skid clean out. Annual carbon testing is a component of Zink's preventative maintenance program.
- Carbon screening: removes dust and tops off system with new
carbon.
- Carbon sampling and testing: determines the condition of your
carbon.
Trust Zink for prompt, dependable service and quality system components that keep your vapor control equipment performing reliably and economically for years to come. Contact Zink to schedule a service call.
