Purge Gas Reduction

The cost to maintain an adequate yet necessary purge-gas supply is an economic consideration for flare owners and operators.

In response to purge-gas cost concerns, John Zink Company developed the Airrestor and Molecular Seal purge-gas reduction devices. Our purge-gas equipment is proven to lower the amount of purge gas required for safe operation.

Airrestor

Low cost, simple installation and no impact on the existing structure make the Airrestor by John Zink^® an optimum purge-gas reduction solution.

Molecular Seal

Our Molecular Seal can significantly decrease the amount of purge gas required for safe operation. The Molecular Seal design is based on the varying molecular weight between the air and waste gas. Minimum purge-gas flow rates are allowed to pass through the Molecular Seal, making it necessary to evaluate the supporting stack to ensure structural integrity is maintained.
