Energy Efficient Pilots (EEP)
John Zink Company's Energy Efficient Pilots (EEP) offer the optimum balance between fuel consumption and stability.
The EEP consumes approximately 50 SCFH of natural gas, which is 75 percent less than the 200 SCFH consumed by the EEP's predecessor, the STF. Although it is possible for a pilot to operate at flow rates less than 50 SCFH, John Zink's extensive testing proves that at least 50 SCFH is required to provide an ignition source strong enough to light the main flare in extreme weather conditions.
Upgrading an old STF pilot to a John Zink® EEP results in dramatic fuel-cost savings.
