Electronic Ignition (SM/FF)
Shutdown Items

Pull SM/FF probe and clean the tip. |

| 2.0 |
Check for burnback in the SM/FF ignition tube as shown by "blueing" the line. If burnback is detected, disassemble probe to check internal probe wiring. The probe and/or pilot may need to be replaced. |

Check ignition wiring for continuity. |
| 4.0 |
Check for spark at the tip of probe before reinstalling probe. |
| 5.0 |
Inspect pilot (Refer to EEP
checklist.) |
Periodic On-line Items
| 1.0 |
If the ignitor box is connected to an unswitched power source, the SM/FF ignitor box must be switched "OFF." The SM/FF ignitor should be switched "ON" only during an ignition attempt. |

If the power feeding the box is switched "ON" and "OFF" from a remote control, then the SM/FF ignitor box itself must remain "ON." |
