Automatic/Manual FFG Ignition
Since the Flame Front Generator (FFG) is located at an accessible location, automatic/manual ignition-panel maintenance can be performed at any time.
Nevertheless, all periodic on-line items should be checked during every shutdown.
Periodic On-line Items

Check regulators on air and ignition gas. Replace diaphragms on a regular schedule. |

Clean air- and ignition-gas orifices. |
| 3.0 |
Clean and gap spark plug. |

Measure correct gap with an ordinary business card. |

3.2 |
Replace spark plug if ceramic insulator is damaged. |
| 4.0 |
Clean sight glass on ignition chamber. Replace if cracked or opaque. |
| 5.0 |
Check alarm and indicating lights on a regular schedule. Replace burned-out lights. |
| 6.0 |
Drain ignition lines at the low-point drains on a regular schedule, at least weekly. |
