Large
Scale Vortex Burner
The Low NOx Combustion Solution Compared to SCR
John
Zink Company, LLC, a global leader in developing next-generation
combustion technologies and environmental solutions, introduces
the patented Large Scale Vortex (LSV™) burner.
The LSV burner technology, licensed from Air Products and Chemicals,
Inc. by John Zink for steam methane reforming applications, is designed
with a proprietary fluidic flame stabilizer and mixing “slotted”
nozzles that enable the primary flame to operate under ultra-lean
conditions. The innovative fluidic flame stabilizer requires little
fuel in the primary flame zone. The result? Lower peak flame temperatures
provide a substantial reduction in NOx emissions.
The LSV burner is available for process heating applications including
various air supply modes (natural, induced, or forced, ambient or
preheat), fuel compositions (refinery fuels), and common burner
firing configurations.
